Together with UDSMR, NYSMSC created a format for a monthly report that provides an update on all activity in the database. Among the information provided are the following:
- New Patient/Case registrations
- Number of Follow-Up forms processed
- Number of forms with missing data that required intervention and amount of time it took
- Total number of cases & missing data interventions by site
- Number of interventions not responded to (Outstanding)
- Custom query hours consumed per month and YTD
- Follow up assessments not processed in timely fashion – by site.
In order to be more user friendly as well as accessible, the database was uploaded to the Internet. Advantages of this move include:
- All data entry performed on the Internet
- Anytime/Anywhere data access by the sites and by Buffalo Coordinating Center
- Enhanced data integrity and validity checks
- Enhanced database integrity
A new function added to the online database allows members to extract information via the Crystal Reports Enterprise Engine. The new capabilities include the following:
- Sites able to query their own data
- Pre-defined standard queries
- Capability to define ad hoc queries
- Queries may be shared between sites
