Welcome to the New York State Multiple Sclerosis Consortium (NYSMSC), an alliance of treatment centers throughout the state organized to prospectively assess clinical characteristics of MS patients. With direction from the lead site at The Jacobs Neurological Institute (JNI) in Buffalo, NY, the Consortium has assembled a computer database containing 9,000 plus registrants and 15,400 plus follow-up visits through June 2009, allowing population-based research collaboration. Data continues to be gathered and analyzed, enhancing the ability of NYSMSC to better understand the disease process.
